those bro who use sump tank. How to u do salt measurement. do it on the sump or the main tank??? i mean where did u put the hydrometer??? If you put it in the main tank, u off the pump then measure, after measure u on back the pump, is it ur water will (run away) meaning you have to re-adjust ur control valve to hv the proper flow rate of water again which i feel bery lay chay???

Never leave the floating hydrometer in the water for too long. Once bacteria or stuff starts growing on it, the accuracy will be affected.

Draw water samples from the tank using a tall bottle and measure the S.G. in the bottle.
