how often do your shrimp molt ?

Hi all just curious how often do your cleaner shrimp molt off their shell ?

Think my about 2 months liao.

bought them quite small, molten quite often. About 3+ times 1 month.

Now quite big, molten is lesser. Only noticed 2 times.

Well, got 2 pieces, so can't tell how often 1 molten frequency.

so is normal la... i almost every wk found a empty shrimp shell in my tank... so my both doctor shrimp either one must be. But very sad today wake up realize that one doctor shrimp die.... I think it was molting then kena hit or watever... then it become like paralyse like that... haiz.. sad it from so small become so big in my tank.... going to buy another one to replace it. Oh anyway curious to know any nudibranch expert here lolz

Oh so is normal ... My tank almost every wk got empty shrimp shell and I only got 2 doctor shrimps now both very big n healthy but alas, this morning when I woke up one of the shrimp die... think it was in the process of moulting and then it was hit or something cuz it was like paralysed lying on the sandbed.... haiz... sad ... it grow so much with me le...

If I'm not mistaken, molten doesn't really shown good progress, stress can cause the shrimp molt too.

If the shrimp got physical injury, some legs torn, molten is expected soon, as the broken parts may grow back.

my 2 shrimp keeps molding(at least one empty shell every week..dnt knw belongs to which one) and having eggs...they seems providing free foods(babies) to my fishes all the time...

eggs need about 16-17degrees to hatch i think
