Need some advice from the experts.... I just started on marine aquarium not long ago...currently have a bare bottom FOWLR tank...but now thinking of adding in sand. Question is that I have couple of fishes in the tank....will adding in sand gradually affect the water condition, which in turn affect the fishes? Pls advise...

I think the only shop selling marine is Rainbow...not much variety though and price a bit high....always wonder why there isn't a "real" marine LFS in serangoon N since so many pet shop there...... maybe our sponsor can open a branch there...hehehe..more convenient for those staying in AMK area....

my 2 shrimp keeps molding(at least one empty shell every week..dnt knw belongs to which one) and having eggs...they seems providing free foods(babies) to my fishes all the time...

Tried feeding my fishes(mostly damsels) first...but they are like always hungry...no matter how much i put..they will eat...... Now currently moving my sun coral to a container during feeding time and put back to main tank after their dinner...hopes this wont kill them..

Tried feeding my sun coral in main tank, but before they can eat, all the food are "robbed" by my shrimp and fishes. Anyone can provide a solution? Tried also moving it to a container and feed, but not sure whether this will cause harm to the sun coral or not by such frequest movement....anyone can help??

I got only 2 shrimps, and i was wondering how come both females can lay eggs w/o a male. From ur info...tat means one of them is a male...also carrying eggs....anyway..i witness the eggs hatching...and my whole school of fishes go into a feeding frenzy !!!!now they r still carrying eggs...looks like they can really reproduce fast....

mine kept being disturb by my skunk shrimps...until they dnt open up. Sadly..those at the side began to die off...
