Need Advise Urgently on Anemone

I just bought a Anemone yesterday...now its getting raelly big which is not what I seen in the shop.

Is it going to 'burst'?

because once my fren's tank also happened once...the new anemone actually became very big and 2nd day it release a lot white stuff and clouded the whole tank.....almost everything died!

anyone help? :blink:

care to share more about your tank parameters? lights, temp, skimmer, period of tank, NO2, NO3, NO4 etc. easier taht way for us. But generally if parameters are good, anemone will grow till quite big, although you see in the shop is small small.

temp is ard 27

normal fl lights

hmmm thin nitrate is 40

erm nitrite and amonia is 0.5

have the tank more than 1 yr

hmmmso its normal for it to be so big? will it repeat history again ?

pls help

Anemones are really difficult to keep unless you have good water quality and good lights. I suggest you do not try anemones until your water parameters improve and read up more about them ;)

HmmmMM i think mayb ur fren water quality tats make it into berserk mode hahaha....well jus keep it or by him some fren example a clownfish or something.. :D:D

Black sea cukes do not eviscerate as exaggerated as the sea apples but when stressed, they do eject some blue threads or worse, the whole of their gut :sick:

But do not worry about corals as their toxin are fish targetted and would not really affect the corals. Curiously, mine has eviscerated 3 time with no casualties :P
