Flame Angel Fish

Guys,

I am considering getting a flame angel to my reef tank.

I understand from reef books and internet that flame angel are NOT reef safe.

However, i see a few brothers in this forum with a/m fish in their tank.

Some LFS also add them to their reef tank.

Is it reef safe ?

Or will it only pick on certain corals ?

Bro, pygmy angels must see heng suay (luck) one........I got read people's experience that they have kept angels and did not touch their corals for years, but then suddenly they start nipping their corals......so you can try, but it's still not 100% reef safe......I would say 50%

just for the records, my flame doesn't touch anything else except algae and my flameback's ######!

totally reef safe in my tank. as stabilo says, it's heng guay. it's just heng for me.

in my opinion, it's a beautiful fish with striking colours, just like the flameback.

btw, anyone has any idea as to which type of coral it like to pick on ?

or did anyone bro out there had such an encounter with a/m fish picking on their favourite coral?

mushroom, button, sea fan, sponges, jewel, bubble ?

Mime didn't touch coral at all for 3 MONTHS than,

killed over 10 SPS colonies, than now, no more touching.
