This is something whcih is good to know, if you belif - "coffin oil"

The toaists usually light an "oil lamp" below the coffin (at funeral wakes) and this lamp is kept burning throughout. The undertakers would use a long tong or something to take the oil lamp and throw it away after the funeral. I was told - "DON'T EVER TOUCH THE OIL - it's bad luck FOREVER".

It seems, pple doing black magic to curse others and give them bad luck always try their best to get the oil.

Belif it or not I leave it 2 u. I am not a toaist myself and I'm not sure whether it's true or not. But, i'll be very careful if i see the "oil lamp".

It's certainly not Alladdin's Lamp.

The thai Guman Thongs are usually kept to protect..but there is also another type commonly known as toyol or gui kia...

Toyols are usually kept to help the masters steal money.

Frankly, toyols are actually quite common in singapore...they dun usually make themselves seen by others. Characteristics are green and small..Their job is mainky to steal money from people`s houses....

They are unborn feotuses and i thin they have to be fed with blood.

I heard that Toyols can be caught by putting marbles, green peas or anything round and small under the bed...next morning, the toyol will be under the bed playing with it as they get distracted from their tasks. So i think jus take a blanket..catch it and throw it out to sea...

On the other hand, Thai Guman Thongs are also very common..usually at pasar malam there will be this guy who sets up a booth to do magic tricks with his guman thongs..its displayed openly...little jars can be found on the table and i presume inside lieas the guman thong...

Yeah I usually only go to those shows in Pasar Malam

But usually the people drag and drag and drag until I cannot wait anymore and finally leave the place <_<
