Hi i'm pretty new to the marine tank setup and have so many comments like skimmers on which to use. Any bros here can help me select the skimmer that is going to help in my setup? I want to buy a skimmer that I do not need to upgrade again because it doesn't skims well. Some recommended needle wheel and some beckett . Actually which is better ?? very confused :thanks:

Go for the Beckett if you do not mind the maintenance and running cost

If not, go for a good needlewheel

that's because you got the macro.

Go for a H&S or deltec or BK and you'll know what's a real needlewheel skimmer can do.

Needle wheel lar... Almost guarantee sure work type. Only to see if you want more or not.

Beckett sure also good but I believe it is good for bigger size tank for its real performance and you also must "learn" to use the skimmer.

Now I wonder how should I utilise my MD70R that suppose for my original plan of going into Beckett.... but after seeing and hearing all the comments, have to put it on hold.
