Hi, got one button polyp for 1 mth already.

only coral in tank.

all goes well until about 3days ago when my polyps stopped opening.

usually they're closed during the day and open up when i on my lights at nite

nowadays they stopped opening completely except for 1 or 2

did a FW dip n shake for 5mins last night

This morning my surface water got alot of "hardened" foam - dunno due to filter or zoo?

IS MY ZOO DYING OR DEAD??

Check for Nudibranch, probably got infestation.

There is a pic here. They are almost impossible to get rid. Try the guides given in reefcentral. Most recommend fresh water dip.

I dip mine in fw for 15 mins.

I do a freshwater dip for abt 5 mins ..While the zoo is still submerged, I use a turkey blaster to blast it. Zoos are damm hardy so don't worry. I've tried for a couple of times already. They all open again within a few hours.

I've got heaps of zoos in my tank so nudis sometimes are quite common for me.
