Brief intro abt benefits of using chaeto algae in the marine tank

- Absorb nutrients from water column for growth

- Starve nuisance algae (red/green) by fighting for these nutrients

- Stable and very fast growth, and due to cell structure, does not go asexual as easily as normal caulerpa algae.

- Provide protection and food for small copepods and other planktonic animals

Sorry Bro,

Please forgive my ignorance.

Just to check with you if it possible to place these algae in the main tank.

As from what I see, they don't seem to be attached to any LR and how to secure their position in the main tank?

;)

Ya they are not attached to any rocks but if u wana keep them in main tank can use a small betta fish container and put at the rear of the tank out of sight. Very soon it will be filled up for harvest! ;)
