With the experience (the good and bad things) of the current 5ft tank. I designed the new 6x2x2.5 tank myself and just get the tank supplier to build according to my design.

Here is the 3.5x1.5x1.5 sump. This sump meant to be simple. The right side is big enough to house the Deltec AP851 skimmer in case it leaks in future. Current plan is of course to place the AP851 outside the sump.

The 1 inch divider is used to place carbon. Carbon will be placed fully across this 1 inch divider so that all the water will have to go pass the carbon .... as I intend to used ozone on the left side of the sump (to be shown later...). This is to ensure that ozone will not get into the main tank.

Becase it will be a BB tank. The tank is with 50% overflow and 50% underflow for easy maintenance.

The problem of pipes blocking the floss in the overflow box is removed by shifting the 2xdurso pipes to another compartment -- The overflow/underflow water from the main tank will first flow to the overflow box filled with floss, and then, the water is underflow into the next compartment with the 2xdurso pipes to the sump. ;)
