Cheap cannisters-U get what u paid for....

Just like to share.... Been using eheim cannisters for abt 4-5 yrs n it finally konked out..... saw cheap cannisters so bgt a China -made(pe...x) one for 1/4 eheim's px hahhaa... lasted only abt 9 mths... bgt another brand jeb.a (think oso made in China) =worse hahaha only less than 6 mths, leaked n whole floor water hahaha ..... hahaha goes to show u get what u pay for... quality shows, no more cheap cannisters for me...

My Jebao last for 4mth then leak a small pool of water bcos of the wire seal. Lucky I know how to diy and apply silicon seal to it. But no time to change back.

My canister history 7 yrs:

1. Fulval - good but many LFS dun sell and cannot find parts. Give to friend

2. Another from china - okay until the connector gave way and no parts for china product.

3. Jebao - 4 mth wire seal leak, repaired

4. Azoo - to replace the Jebao temporary, pianz faulty product, major leak, send back to replace.

5. Dophin - Dun want the Azoo and insist on a different brand. Running 2 weeks, lots of air coming out. nvr mind, what the hack.

3 canister at home, all china brand... got money, dun buy them, its for cheap ppl like me...

Bcos I dun have a sump, so bo bianz....

Thats why, when i wanna sell my eheim canister filters that was used for 1yr and 1 1/2 yrs, some people still PM me insinuating me to sell at S$30-S$50 can you believe that? Jesus i would rather keep it and let it rot man....

yeaps my ehiem cannisters have been running for many years.. i think 6+ years already still going strong... (used on freshwater tank)

From what I understand fluval's newer range also not bad... Petmart sells i think..
