How Do You Secure Your Lr For Aquascaping???

I understand that some reefers here use super glue.

Question:

1) Glue is applied when the rock is wet or dry? Won't this cause some die-off of the LR?

2) No problems of toxicity of the glue in SW? How about epoxy or some type of resin?

3) Any other methods besides gluing and gravity defying ones aka stacking.

Suggestions please.

No diff if rock is wet or dry. Just apply enough to soak thru porous rock surface or they won't adhere to each other. Applies to tiny pcs of rocks only.

Nope! Surprisingly cyanoacrylate glue is non-toxic in saltwater. Use superglue gel for easy working due to the thicker viscosity and slower hardening time allowing time for corrections.

Two-part epoxy used for underwater pipe repair is also safe. Just don't get epoxy for metal repair as it contains metals in them.

Yes, I have superglued velcro strips onto pvc racks to secure rocks and small corals for easy removal. You can also use cable ties to secure LR together. Overtime, they will be covered with coralline algae.

You can use the search function, keywords 'superglue gel', 'secure LR', 'epoxy'.... you'll find a lot of good info that has been given in the past before... LYFDTW! (let your fingers do the walking)

Does ppl with big tanks always gel their rocks togather? is it quite a must thing?
