Is this a pregant mantis shrimp?

While cleaning my LRs, a weird transparent "thing" popped onto my table. It is around 1.5 cm long. I examined it closely and here are the pictures:

Is this a mantis shrimp? From my experiences with freshwater and planted tanks, this shrimp seems to be pregnant.

Should I put it back into my main tank or is this a harmful shrimp that I should kill it?

That's a pregnant pistol shrimp...

Non-aggressive most of the time and should not post a threat to your other lifestock.. unless you got small delicate creatures in your tank. well, at least mine hasn't given me any problems... so far. Helps to finish up leftover uneaten food on the sandbed.

Thanks. So, I think it is safe (for the time being) to put into my tank, after all, it is only 1.5 cm! :D
