can any one tell where to buy fish that are caught by net and free from cyanide, as most of the lfs in singapore import fishes that are caught using cyanide.

Bruce from Golden Oct did mention that their fishes are caught using net.... They will also release a tape which will be played in the shop when they fixed up the VCD player and TV....

So far, fishes bought from S.L proofed to be surviving quite well with feeding compared to other LFS

Following are tell tale signs of cynide drugged fishes:

1. Color on body very bright.

2. bloated stomach. especially for angels.

3. look carefully to see if they are passing out white strings of shit.

From pass experience, i find fish quality from Sea Life, Marinelife and Coral Farm quite good.

i must say most of the LSF keeper are kind to tell me if the fish are caught using cyanide. As most of them import them for cost effective.And also it not easy to catch fish in the ocean as i'm a diver too...
