Mantis Shrimp

Actually the picture didn't do it justice, I'm lousy at taking photos...

The real specimen was a rosy pink on the back,with white on the sides, the eyes and some areas near the front were greenish

Very Nice!

if you ever plan to sell or put up for adoption...

Hi,

very sorry....this one belonged to me about 5 years ago and has died quite long ago... :paiseh:

This type can be found every september to april in Hong Kong... I think it's a temperate or at least sub-tropical species as it is found there only in autumn and winter...

I hope those mantis fans are not offended but I think they look like cockroaches.. looks quite eriee..

but I guess it would be very fun to watch them fight...

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?
