you are right...i do. its seems like its all over the place. any idea on how to control it without having to damage anything else in the tank??i wanted to dose kalk but i tested my water few days ago and found that the calcium levels are little too high. (think above 600pp) so just waiting for my coralline algae to bring it down.

thanks.

It's always fascinating to see someone else's tank. Like the reef. Although the algae look really really horrid, remind me of something... em...

Is that an Ikea storage box? :P You are truly the King of DIY, lol!

What's your water temperature over in London? As I am having 30ºC water problem back home.

p.s: I love London!!!

hi... thanks.

well the water quality here from the taps in london is very bad. Hence it seems that it is a necessasity to get a RO unit (hopefully to get one soon). I have just added a seio 620 to the tank.

think the flow within the tank is great. But as for the algae bit, i am still fighting it. actually don;t have much time to fight it at the moment. Need to get a FR and some antiphos.

The water temp is around 28. sometimes hits 29 or 30 when the heater in the house is on. hence a chiller might be needed.

Hence my wish list in order of preference.

1. FR with Rowa

2. RO unit

3. Chiller

ps. yeah its an ikea box.
