Where can I get cheap guitars?

hi guys,

does anyone know where i can get a quality electric guitar? i have one, but its a little crappy. i tried the usual places, swee lin, paradise centre, yamaha, etc. but really too expensive for me.

does anyone know of any good shops that sells electric guitars?

the soft website is pretty good. i also tried yahoo auctions.

i will try the rest of the suggestions over the weekend.

anyway, what music do you guys play? i need to upgrade my old crappy guitar for something with a cleaner sound.

no point in upgrading my guitar...its not a good piece to begin with. the worst thing is that the strings are quite a distance from the fretboard, so it feels a little spongyspongy.
