sump design

hi there ppl,i'm new in these marine thing.can any one gives advise on how to build a sump .

firstly of all it got to be cheap and all the materials are easily available.mine is a 3 ft thanks

Your main tank must have overflow capability, must have a hole on the side or

bottom. As for sump , remember to give allowance for the skimmer (get the weipro type), best to get the glass maker to make the sump for you. Glass is cheaper than hard plastic/derlin type. Mine around 2 feet with two compartment
