Pipes contractor...

just buy the pipes...can liao..and buy your own cutter.....that should be alot cheaper than engaging someone to your house to do the piping for you...at a cost..

unless u mean "METAL piping"

I am just an average FR (fish reefing) writer. If you like my FRs, please upz my points.

Yeah.. good glue and silicon for PVC to PVC connection is good enough..

but like for my case, for PVC to check valve and PVC to control valve connections, I epoxy the damn thing..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Is there any specific pipe cutter to buy and those to avoid buying?

Seriously.. Its better but not a must.. I just use a <$10 hack saw.. PVCs are easy to saw..

just buy any1 from hardware shop. I bought from a very old shop, cost around S$14. Its a breeze to cut PVC and those rubberhose. U will appreciate how conveinet it is and how clean the cut is. Sawing PVC is another way, but imagine u got so many to cut and re-cut. Nightmare. :nuke:

And as for glue, just ask them for PVC glue. The can, they show u will indicate PVC glue on them.

The pipeing/DIY shop will sell you proper PVC glue for joining PVC pipes.

You mean must glue the pipe? Just join together cannot?

Thanks.
