overflow

hi all.

Me juz set up overflow box...only to realise the potential areas of disaster as discussed.

Yes, the siphon needs to be maintained, otherwise it will break, due to bubbles...as i discovered one day. I am now using a small pump to maintain the vacuum. And so if it breaks, the main tank is likely to overflow.

And, if and when the siphon breaks, the return pump will o'heat from water starvation...not a good thing too...coz the return pump usually quite ex, not to mention a fire hazard. So a float switch is my best bet...something which i'm looking into getting.

Hence would appreciate any help/info on where to get one.

thx!

That's what worrying me too hehe.

But besides buying a float switch, still have to buy a relay or a controller - then the amount of $ may not be juz $60 right? Anyone knows what relay to buy to cut off the pump and how much will it cost?

Thanks.
