Well, with a big budget, a big tank, it will be inspiring to see the development of your tank. Keep posting the pictures.

BTW 6ft is no allowed in a HDB flat???

Actually I think I got a good deal, not really as ex as you think la.

To be frank, I am not sure whether HDB allow or not :P

wow! sweet! i love to look at the set up of big tanks. i think the rule is that tanks bigger than 4 feet standing on 4 points need permit. ditto tanks that weigh more than 500kg.

but seriously i don't know of anyone who has ever applied for a permit. and i most definitely never heard of a tank crashing into the unit below.

i was wondering if you are going to vent the heat from the mh. because it is going to get warm in that room. my one piece of 250 mh and cl650 damn near cooked my family.

Hi tayhonglee, thnks for the nice comments. aquamarin will install vent. fan for my 3 x 250W MH, my chiller will be placed out of the cabinet near a window (refer to my previous pic) so won't cook my family la! ha ha ha :D

Hi bro... big is beautiful... did you specify what "brand" of glass to use? Or they just provide you a conventional 15mm thick glass?

Wow this is so exciting! Keep things coming... is yours considered a custom tank (where they construct based on your design) or a standard 6" tank? Wondering should I get AM to do my next custom design for me :heh:

Aquamarin said: you just "pay money, sit and watch" so until now none of the idea nor design was mine. :P But I like. I am too Lazy already! Luckily Steve is very pro and he knows his work well. He explained everything to me step by step :snore: although I told him no need. But he insisted that I learn

bro, just a suggestion, u could remove ur bioballs... i was facing very very high nitrate problems when another reefer recommend me to remove my bioballs, it helped alot as deritus will get stuck in there.

from bio balls i switched to live rock in sump. again after awhile deritus start to accumilate and nitrate went up again.

eventhough running the sump bare wont get u zero nitrates, it will help reducing them :)

btw ur tank is huge...nice

HTHs :peace:

really huh? ok will consult my "doctor", thanks bro :peace:

another advise, looking at your plug there you better look for something to cover it else when some equipment not working properly it shoot out water at least u don't have a sudden block out or worth elect leaking case.

A very valid point there... will design a safer way to manage this part in my next tank setup.

i like your scaping! looks very interesting. maybe not so good for coral placements, but definitely unusual and eye catching.

ever thought about getting ozone? crystal clear water, but at a risk to your family jewels (i read that ozone causes low sperm count).
