Get them out of the water and scrub them clean? Are all your LRs covered up with so much algae? I have 3 tangs, 1 Regal, 1 Yellow and a Tomini. The mini Tomini is the most hardworking, always pecking here and there.

hey bro where did u get the mini Tomini?

My two tangs r yellow & blue tang, 4 firefish , 2 clown , 1 mandarin , 1 damsel & 4 cleaner shrimps.

is there other way than taking out the LR to scrub? i need to shift all the corals which is quite troublesome .

Btw , wat is mini Tomini?

thanks alan

Erm, its a tomini tang, the mini is the size of my specimen. Well, for starters, do you use anti anti phosphate media like Rowa? If you do, are you using a FR for it? Using distilled water for your top-up/water changes helps too. :)

My tangs when they are starved, will just peck on my furry LRs. You might wanna starve your tangs for a day or two and see if they wack the algae. Good luck!

i'm using berlin turbo PS & deltec FR with 1 kg of rowa, i gt no problem with my phospate which is 0 . only my nitrate which hover ard 50 all this one year. i now using distilled water for top up and changing. but the algae seem to grow longer and more.

i did saw my tangs foxface eat the algae but they just spit out, sigh....

any other fish i can get to eat the stupid algae?
