Got one decent Diy denitrator in good condition for sale (complete set comes with submersible pumps and a lab control valve.

Thoughts on the DIY Coil Denitrator

Letting go at a dirt cheap price at $50 (much less than what I had spent for the project) and this unit is suitable even up to 5 feet tank volume. Much much lesser than any branded Denitrator on the market min. $200++.Has run the unit about 2 months and is working perfectly. Has to let go as now I have set up the tank to Deep Sand Bed (DSB) due to friend pass me lots of sand and do not like the previous bare bottom tank, hence I have to run in my tank again for the natural nitrate reduction route (DSB).

Takers have to come and collect it at Ang Mo Kio Ave 3, Blk 572. Can call/ SMS me at 93388521 for info. Attached are 2 pics of the denitrator. Take note as I have pull out the system and emptied the denitrator, hence you need to run in for bout a month for building of necessary bacteria.

im thinking of DIY CD , is yrs working perfectly ? whats the NO3 reading is B4 and after installing the DIY CD ?

can u give the details like size and length of tubing used inside the CD chamber and how tall is the chamber.

also what kind of pump u used.

i understand u do not need to feed the bacteria in the CD, is that true ?

and lastly where did u get all the supplies from ?? thks

I know its easier just to buy it from u but I like the pleasure and satisfaction of a successful DIY.
