Hi,

My current tank is about 120L and am planning to upgrade to about 250L.

If I plan to get Daeil chiller, is 1/10 HP for 300L sufficient? will I expect frequent kick in? I hope to know the minimum size I require for decent performance.

I do understand the bigger the better ;)

:thanks:

Hi boxfish,

The size of chiller is not totally depend on the Gallon/litre itself ;) ! You must consider the no. of pumps used, lighting heat....etc.

Anyway, you can check the size of the chiller for your needs from Arctica website!

Arctica

Cheers.

1/10 HP will be far too small. More likely 1/4 HP would be more suitable.....but check the formual at the Artica site.

Real reefs don't have glass bottoms....(...think about it)
