I got a huge piece of green starpolyp and i am trying to let it grow and spread onto another smaller piece of rock ( so i can give it to a friend ).

Qns 1) How to place the smaller piece of rock? Beside / underneath / overlap ?

Qns 2) HOw long does it take for the starpolyp to spread?

Anyone tried it and succeeded?

If the GSP is deep encrusted type, you need to place near the rock and wait for it to spread with strong current, may takes 3 - 6 mth.

You can slice the lesser encrusted cousin by a pen knife and super glue. Spread in 2weeks
