The best sand bed stirrers that I've found are the red-legged hermit crabs. It eats the green algae and digs deep into the sand. Make sure you get one where the shell is about 1-2 inches in size. They've left the tube anemone alone, and don't nip the fishes as well.

In my past experience, an olive snail is the best ever sand bed stirrer. They moves and dig like super turbo speed I never thought a mollusc could do so. However I don't think they are sustainable in a marine tank in the long run because olive snail feeds on other small mollusc. Also another problem is LFS do not sell it, simply because it had no place in the aquarium. However if u can lay hands on one, maybe to can train to feed it with market prawn meat at night when fishes sleeps and they roam.
