One possible is that something is disturbing it. Do you keep wrasse as well? Some of the wrasses are prone to eat tube worms/feather fusters. Or check out for crabs. You water parameter cold be another factor. As they might be thinking of migrating somewhere else.

both my tubes worms came out..

end up in the trash bag..

:lol:

be sure there are no crabs in ur tanks..

cuz i withness a crab trying to feed on the tube when i 1st intro the tube worm into the tank

but i manage to dig out the crab

went into the trash bag too.. :lol:
