mushroom or elephant?

Recommended Posts

hey all,

my friend passed me what he called an elephant ear.

but i'm having doubts over what it is.

i've read people saying that you can feed the elephant ears, but mine doesnt seem to have a mouth...

it looks like a mushroom, as it has a long stalk and then opens up like an irregular shaped mushroom. it's sorts brownish colour and has small tenticles that look like pimples on the top. these tenticles only open in the light.

it has survived without any food and i was just wondering WHAT IS THIS?

cuz i wanan know how i can look after it better

would post pic, but i got no camera. pls help! thanks

These guys are hardy buggers. You can literally blend them in a blender and they regenerate back. Of course, proper sterilization must be done in order for this to happen.

Just some additional info to let you know
