Those "mouldy" stuff are normal. Its juz those aerobic bacteria doing their job. U should be having quite high NH4 and NO2 now. Will probably take another 2 weeks or more till the tank is cycled.

Having lots of patience in this hobby is very impt.

--> Artificial Rock (AR).

Actually I was just going to GO look look see see to find out more abt the AR, GO just took shipment of the AR. There were many AR in different sizes and shapes and of course different price depending on size and shapes and model.

Initially GO show me a single-sided AR (at a cheaper price of course), single-sided meaning the base is hollow (White) without any finishes, i.e. only the top side could be used/displayed.

hmm.. not actually impressed i was thinking.. then i went on to dig thru the piles of AR and found this:

Nice! can flip over and use the other side (which is flatter) wor:

this flat side is best for placement of LPS & SPS.. :peace:
