This is the part where I adjust the height of the water within the chamber (the transparent tube is a good indication for easy adjusting)

As expected from a skimmer this size... MICROBUBBLES!!! Quite abundant in my opinion... so proper sump design is needed if you want your tank bubble-free :eyebrow:

Is it already incooperated into yr sump.

Ok a proper sump design (in this context) should comes with mean/s to trap/stop microbubbles from returning to the main display tank.

As for my case... it may not be the best (thanks to my ever-growing ideas and demands... until a point my tankmaker can't keep up with me anymore :lol: ) but it works perfectly fine as my main display tank is bubble-free :P

Can you show some features of your sump tat help to eliminate micro bubbles?

The picture I posted earlier shows a separate chamber for most of the bubbles to settle... the water column will then move through the bottom, which is around 24" below... into the main chamber of sump no.2... the water will then travel to sump no.1 throught a durso to reduce additional bubbles (and sound)... the water that is being discharged to sump no.1 contains very little microbubbles... the water then travels to the right... through 3" of black sponge... before reaching the return pump :)

As mentioned before... may not be the best design... as the original sump was not designed for this skimmer... but hey... I am happy with my crystal clear tank water :lol:

4 days 8 hours... the amount of foam produced increases everyday. Here's what I have done in the past 24 hours... removed the bioballs from my sump (a bit of floating detritus created from the process)... fed once using Live Brine Shrimp (not overfeeding) at 3.00pm :unsure:

The bubbles on the neck looks the same to be in terms of denseness and fineness... everything looks the same to me except for the dryer and foamier candy floss...

Could the Live Brine Shrimp produces so much wastes? I removed every single drop of water that comes with the shrimps :erm:

6 days 7 hours upon firing-up... I believe the skimmer has fully kicked-in... the skimmate is still constantly filthy-looking although I've been controlling my feeding... yesterday pellets only... today 3 cubes of frozen mysis (water removed) :)

Yes bro... but I only mentioned my feeding regimens as the LS and corals are pretty constant throughout the past week :)
