Jebo 178 Skimmer

Hi Guys,

Just bought this hang on skimmer ###### filter from a fellow reefer. Does anyone else have this model of skimmer? I am not sure how it works. I have got the water running already but I'm not sure if the skimmer is working or not. I've peered down the skimmer hole but I don't see any bubbles.

First, make sure you air intake is closed or to the minimal. Ensure the water filter is flowing. Turn the air control thingy slowly. You should start to hear bubbling sounds with more air intake.. Thats about it. Don't expect too much bubbles though. Its not a good skimmer.

Thing about this filter is that it will fail to pump water over time. Esp when your air intake is opened too much.
