Shells for blue legged hermits?

Anyone knows where to get shells for blue legged hermits? And does the hermit molt within their shells? How long would it take to molt if it does molt?

My red-legged hermit moults outside of its shell. It's typically done overnight.

one of my blue legged hermits have been staying in one corner for about a weeks time already, and I saw one of its leg near it that most probably have broken off...When molting will their leg come off? The hermit is still alive though, but it only stays at one corner...Another blue legged hermit of mine is very active though...my water conditions and stuff like tat should be all okay...since my other livestocks including 2 clownfishes, hector's goby, algae blenny and some zoas and mushrooms are all doing great...

check your iodine levels it could be insufficent.

This happened to me and the hermits and shrimps took ages for

the carapace to harden after molting.

if u wish to change 'house' for ur hermit...the easiest wasy but maybe a bit troublesome (got extra thing to do later)...go to e beach n scout for empty shells...
