Another thing... lighting wise you got it right by placing them on the uppermost area... but I got a feeling your water current may not be sufficient for SPS <_<

hey alvin..

nice tank.. and nice collection of corals..

btw, i strongly recommend u to add a wavemaker in ur tank.. don juz rely on the return pump.. ya.. it wont provide the sps with enough flow.. somemore, u are driving the pump with ur chiller, FR and main tank if not wrong.. all this sharing have already reduce alot alot of flows.. do consider adding a seio wave maker if u think that tunze provide too much flow, as u mention that only the top u r keeping sps.. :)

anyway, i also starting a 3x2x2 in my dad shop.. hopefully the tank will be nice like urs.. and oh.. maybe u wan to lower down ur MH? i find that it is way too high.. and if u lower down, ur sps will turn out nicer(colour up) :) ya..

hmmm.. i think u can add a seio 820 since u are only putting sps on the top.. btw, hydor i'm not sure leh.. must ask bro jervis liao.. haas.. :lol:

haha..cos i find seio pumps are very bulky....i saw the hydor korallia....the size is very good.. :D and price wise oso not that high.. :rolleyes:

Bro... Ever see the recent issue of recalls of hydro wavemakers on reef central?

That has dented my confidence in their products...

currently i have been feeding my corals with marine snow together with reef plus(amino acid) using the dripping method when the lights is on..the dripping duration is around 2-3 hrs...i feel that the corals have sufficient time to feed on them and can see them bloom all out happily when i feed...

was thinking of trying the dried cyclopeeze...how do u guys feed them wif it?...n what is the dosage?...thanks in advance.. :heh:
