How to lower the Calcium level

I had check my calcium level and it show above 500+. May i know does this cause damage to the coral. How to lower it? I try to find the testing kit to test for the storium, but very hard to find or very expensive, can some one advice. Is this a must to test for the storium level?

higher calcium is prefered in some marine set up in usa no harm of having higher cal pls check your alk value within range add more clams they consume more calcium than sps and acts as filter too

i dun tink soft corals and hard corals can take that high level of calcium...they may be shock and hence melt off... ;)

check ur kH and magnesium level..

you muz noe wad to dose ma.. cannot everything also dose.. u can try pumping ur kh to precipitate out ur calcium? or try changing water.. use salt with lower CA.. i forgot which salt got lower CA den.. :)
