which one wil you choose.. if $ is not the main factor

I would go for deltec cos of its recirculating features and can be used in or out of sump. And also for its skimming capabilities.

If money is not an issue, a skimmer is not required.

Just employ a worker to do 100% WC everyday using DI water.

Get another to drip all the additivies.

Another to feed the fishes.

And one to pluck out all the algae in the tank one strand by one strand.

And probably five more to fan the tank on a 24 hr shift.

HAhahaha... Or probably can fly in water from the Maldives? Shd be clean enough...

Sorry for all the side track. I think AP 800 series are pretty good. And energy efficient. I somehow prefer recirculating skimmers better.

Now u mention $$ is a concern.... . Btw, what is ur tank size? If your tank is @ 6ft, these 2 skimmer should be suitable. If its much smaller, u can opt for a smaller skimmer models....

BK do comes in insump and outsump models. So the outsump model is a recirculating skimmer just like the Deltec.

bk is like 9series deltec already. so of course go for the bk.. HUGE price difference between bk250 and deltec 8 series..

But also too ex for me. I still prefer deltec. At least with my current pay I can still afford that.
