Glue them?

Hi, i have a doubt. Whenever your buy a new coral (any kind), how do your place them into the tank? By using super glue or just place them in the spot that u wan?

Cause whenever i buy new ones, i always have abit of hard time placing them, scare them might drop if i place them too high or too near to the current flow.

If it's using super glue, is it 100% safe for the tank n corals? Will be glad if someone ans my questions, Tnks alot in advance!

most of the corals we got comes with base rock so we just place it on our LR. if in the event that the coral drop off from their base rock we can use super glue(gel type), if u are afraid on toxin etc u can use eproxy.

Omg super glue, sounds toxic. Use e-proxy instead, but you need to hold them for sometime before they will hold tight.

Can you actually glue them in the water with the fishes in the tank ? wont he fishes start eating at the glue?

I am using Aquapharm Rock Bonder. It suppose to be save for reef & fish. This is some kind of epoxy and thick, so no need to hold too long it will hold.

depends on the size of the coral and the type of corals. big size then use epoxy lor. If SPS i normally use Loctite super glue gel which i think is the best so far.

applied some glue gel on the base of the coral then stick it on the rocks (can be in the water). make a few twists and applied firmly for couple of seconds till it is firmly attached to the rock.
