SRC Member LaW Posted October 1, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted October 1, 2007 do ur 6 YT fight or chase one another? i had got 3 YT and they dun school together they kept fighting and chasing with one another instead Quote If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless. Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. || Tank: 78" x 30" x 30" || Sump: 48" x 22" x 20" || Lights: PowerModule 10 X 80W|| Returns: 2 x HF32 || || Skimmer: BubbleKing Supermarin 300 || Wavemaker: 3 x 6100 & 1 x 6200, 2 x Wavebox 6212, WavySea || || FR: 2 x FR150 || NR: Sulphur Denitrator || CR: RM Custom Made 8" || KR: Deltec KM500 || TopUp: Tunze Osmolator 3155 || || UV: Coralife 12X 36W || Ozonizer: Sanders C200|| Controller: GHL Profilux Plus II Ex ||
SRC Member MAG Posted October 1, 2007 Author SRC Member Share Posted October 1, 2007 do ur 6 YT fight or chase one another?i had got 3 YT and they dun school together they kept fighting and chasing with one another instead hi law. well i introduced them into my tank together so no fighting and surprisingly not even chasing each other. maybe later stage when my tank run out of green hair algae. when they are hungry maybe they will find fault with each other. i just put in my purple tang(4.5')and brown tang-both from previous tank. still no fighting YET. shall keep my finger cross. i was told initially they will chase each other but after awhile will be brotherbrother or sistersister heehee. SRC Member loster Posted October 1, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted October 1, 2007 hi loster. thx for the advise. i put some plaster on the holes to prevent hot air being blown into the sump. i was told for artica chiller the diff in temp setting is 0.5. meaning if i set to 27.5 it will kick in when tank temp reaches 28. during hot season in sin surely chialat-pub bill. when chiller kicks in hot air can be strong and i got to on ceiling fan. otherwise sofa area will be like sauna. maybe ill freeze few bottles of h2o and leave it in the sump to help cool down h20. the warm air from the condenser does heat up your inlet and outlet hose of your chiller. so, it requires more energy to chill your tank water i am using 1/5hp with ehem 1262 (3400l/h) from chiller to the main tank. set my temp diff 0.5. take less then an hour to chill my 3ft tank. and take more then 2 hrs to kick in again. cabinet height is at 3ft. ya... i insulated my inlet and outlet hose. so when the warm air blow at it, it does not heat up hose
