they will fight for territory. as long as the other keep out, they will stop chasing.

This is just my view.

Many yrs ago, read some articles said if size different too much will kill. I dont know how true this is.

unless your tank is too small for them so they will fight for territory.

hmm... now on the lookout for these shrimps... went everywhere but could not find... bought 3 dispar anthias instead... :paiseh:

Fire shrimps are from deeper waters thus nor as common as cleaner shrimps.

Just be patience and keep a look out, I am sure you will stumble upon a shipment soon.

Searched very hard and finally found 2 out of 8 users in this post claimed that they have problem with blood shrimp.

PS: You can throw whatever smoke you want, I don't care and will stay far far away. But don't throw smoke on me. :P

Thanks for the effort bro! B)

Don't thank me, I should say sorry for leaving a bad taste in your thread.

Anyway, just feels that its always better to have some form of literature when posting advises rather than imposing on certain beliefs without rhymes or reasons. :peace:

U have a valid point there… but I will like to point out something without any literature or references except thru’ my “common sense-logyâ€â€¦.

Searched very hard and finally found 2 out of 8 users in this post claimed that they have problem with blood shrimp.

For example a certain thing,

10 people succeed in doing it and

10 people fail in doing it.

What is the percentage of that 10 successful people posting in public than the 10 people who fail?

PS: Just want to point out something that not many people realise....

:) Greeting :)

Tank: 4' by 2' by 2' (CR antique)

Sump: 3' include 1' refuigm

LOL bro even those 2 do not really have concrete evidence that the blood shrimp attack other livestock.

IMO the blood shrimp are one of the best reef inhabitant along with the skunk. They seem to be super peaceful and can co-exist well with both their own species and other species of shrimp.

I have a huge 3 inch blood shrimp and a pair of 1 inch skunks.... They do not have any problem with each other at all. In all of the reefer's tank I have seen with skunk and blood living together, all of the shrimp co- exist well with another with hardly any problems ;)
