Pipes

Dear all,

Was told that there must many pipe around and only some are suitable for marine tank?

The pipe are used for carrying water into the sump and out into the main tank.

What type of pipe should be used? And what is the cost like?

UPVC. Prices depend on sizes.

yup. it come in White od grey 2 type, but each type only fit to their own type. cannot mix and used - white in MM, grey in inch.

Most commonlt used one r the grey pvc pipes. Cheap N Good.

I have bad expreience with the white ones. They don't seem to fit as well as the grey ones and keep leaking.

So I should take the white one?

Are there any special type of material that I should look for? Or just any PVC will do?

Hi, IMO you should used the grey, white one alway got the problem of leaking. i am usong the grey type for my 3 feet tank. PVC is good enought for pipe.
