This is my newly set up tank. Any comment is welcome about the scaping of the rock.

Welcome to the club... I personally think you should have some kinda feature to your scaping i.e. cave, overhang, mountain, lagoon... having 2 separate piles of rocks can be nice too with a valley in between

Dead Areas are areas in the tank where there are no or very little flow of water. This will lead to build up of organicn wastes i.e uneaten food or wastes.

If I can add my 2-cents worth, you have a variety of types of liverock - tonga branche, flat pieces, etc, my suggestion, either stack them into 2 larger stacks or 1 single big one in the centre so that the water can flow all around and as your tank is in the center of your room, then you can have a view of the tank in 3 views, a single large pile of rocks may be the interesting way to go!

if you stack your tonga branches at the bottom with other rocks, you can get caves and overhangs nicely.

I like your 2 piles of rocks, this is better than the 1st try. Good Luck.

errr, i think his idea better than me loh.

Anyway, I think ya can try bigger piece of live rocks. So ya can cover more area and stick those tonga with epoxy.

Some coral to try the water, been there for around 1 week.

So far so good, all open till big big, only the sun coral never open fully for all the poly.

One side of the Rock just topple over, will need to rescape again. Looking for more big rock, Anyone giving away or selling?

clam dont put in between the hammer corals, sooner or later will get stung by the growing hammers. Bubbles will sting other corals too be careful. They stretch out tentacles when lights off.
