Turtle weed

hey guys! any tips on getting turtle weeds(those moss like macros) to grow nice? if my tank is 2.5 ft in height, think 4x 54 watts t5 14k/10k/6500k tube able to provide enough light? pls advice

Like to know if they will grow asexual or the same principles as chaetos.

Difficult to keep. Require High flow. Lights 6500K better. Mine long thime ago, gaze by luttuce slug til botak. Killed the Slug, then they regrow, add my tang then all dissappear for ever.

Price also not cheap... If dying, will drop off like hair and float in tank amd difficult to scoop out.

Difficult algae, as other aggressive algae will surpass them if flow is not enuf. Uses flow to keep other algae away.

erm.... think i made a typo error... it's those moss like algae that comes with liverocks... most pple would throw them away.... very hardy, very difficult to die wan too....

Turtle weeds is not easy algae to keep.... Anything in tank with green taste will nip them.... I have once tried to save them and move them down to sump, also gone... 'cos this time it's the lights ###### flow not enough.
