Humm... after I decomm it, I see a decrease of maybe about $30 in my PUB bills. As for the kicking in, yes, I do notice it but its bearable...can't really tell you how loud or quiet it is as different personality has vary noise tolerance level. With regards to the heat, seriously, I don't feel a thing as I've my ceiling fan blowing the heat away.
