chanbi
I have just bought a coral beauty from Sealife about a week back and it does not look good. It has been in my small quarantine tank (inside main tank) and it has yet to start eating (have tried all sort of food). And on Sat night, i saw his left eye swollen and a layer of whitish thing covering it. Anyone know what i can do to save him?
SRC Member Limpc Posted December 16, 2002 SRC Member Share Posted December 16, 2002 One of my damsel developed the same disease and passed away the very next day. Better isolate completely from your main tank. Limpc
chanbi
This should be cause by the transporting right? Do u mean it can be spread to other fishes?
Achilles Tang
I once had a anthia with the same problem... pop eye! It went away after 2 weeks... but unfortunately it died with the same batch of lyretail anthias I got... must have been caught by cyanide... coz the dispars that I got together with them are still doing fine... and they were all eating well. It could be damage caused by accidental rubbing against a hard object... or it could be an internal problem....kidneys/liver.... read it somewhere. SRC Member harlequin Posted December 16, 2002 SRC Member Share Posted December 16, 2002 Rusty Angel is another angel that gets pop eyes diseases very easily. You'll need to quarantine that fellow for a long time since they do not ship well.
