It's quite painful for me to keep changing the media .. and I don't recall me changing it that frequently last time ..

So now I'm asking what's the average duration so I can gauge if it's just me or it's the media ..

I just tried Rowa after having used Sorb4 for 1 yr.

I find Sorb4 easier to fluidize TBH. Rowa particles are so much finer, it's difficult to adjust the flow so that the main bulk of the media fluidizes while the finer particles don't get sucked into my water. And this is after running the media through freshwater for some time...

But it works well.

I still prefer Rowa

1X6085 Tunze wm,

1 CURVE 7 Skimmer

  1 DIY 80 led control by Bluefish mini 

1 radion XR30W G2, 2 Radion XR15G3

Sump area lite by 5 ft T5 , 6 * SSC 3 watt red LED for refugium

1 Full spectrum E27 led light

1 CR control by bubble count

Start No Water Change since 1st Dec 2016

Add new 2.5x2x 1.5 ft
