Hi Bro,

Trim off all the white portion, put some Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) in a filter bag and place into your sump.

Hi,

I hope I am not the person who gave U the cheato.

These things grow like weed in my sump. U need to submerge them, have some flow across the top of the bunch. I use a 2ft FL light that is on-ed 24/7.

Very strange appearence on the cheato. Could be some rotting stuff. The rest of the bunch is quite good. Should be ok after climatised to your tank.
