I'm lazy of changing water :D , what additives is needed to replenish the trace elements? Besides these:

Kalk (to maintain Calcium & dkh)

Calcium & dkh buffer (in case kalk couldn't raise it)

phytoplanton (for feeding)

Iodine?

Strontium?

Trace elements?

what else?

I think your concern is more on maintaining low bioload. i.e. nitrate & phosphate in particular. I've no worry over these, they're almost 0, tested regularly with Salifert test kit. :D Think DSB, Kalk drip & Weipro PS are doing very good job.

My concern is the depletion in sea water trace elements that could do harm to corals. What supplements are essential?

Just read from reefcentral. Someone mentioned there're many toxic that cannot be identified. Corals do produce toxic which maybe lethal to lifestock. Water changes help to dillute these toxic. Seems like changing water is not an option. :(

the above 3 could be replace with regular water change :)
