Replica Rocks

Dear All

Just find out if there is anyone using replica rocks from GO here? Will it be the same if we start a tank using dead rocks and replica rocks? Cos i am quite sick of pest crabs pushing down corals at night with my current reef tank. Many a times, there will be casualties if the fallen corals landed onto a wrong and more "aggressive" neighbour

Did u give the replica rocks any special wash before putting into your tank?

yes i used that too. Mixed with GO replica rocks and live rocks.

U can see a differences between these.

I just run thru with normal tap water.

Hope these helps! By the way, their rocks are special in a sense that it comes in diff sizes and good cave in for placing of corals.

Thanks bro, one of the other reason why i want to use them is the ease to place corals with their design, no wasted space..

correct, but if you wanna get rid of pests..i can tell you, we can reduce it only....

having corals from farms, pests will def. hid inside the rocks..so bo piang, unless u soak it lugol solution before adding onto main tank...

And by the way, their replica rocks doesnt comes cheap...comparing to live rocks!

So plan ahead before making purchase!

I use it too with live rocks.

As replica rocks shape is 'design' to look natural with careful selection on what you want on yr aquascape, its great to have them.

As it cost much $$ than live rocks, need to consider what you want before 'jumping in'
