Urgent!! Nid help!! wat is this and how to get rid of

hi bros...nid help on this...how do i get rid of this ting? the white white color...it comes with the 2nd hand tank which i bought....my 1st marine tank...n wat is this? is it gd for my tank...some type of algae or? then as for the green color mark, is it considered green algar? how to get rid of this oso? thks a lot...wanna get rid of this tingy before i put water/rock/sand into the tank...

If it bothers you, take it off with scraper.

Hope you've done some research before you start your tank!

yup...i did....bt all i could find was about brown,red,green algaes...bt cant find ne info on white algae at all...

Could it be coraline developing?

there's coraline oso...bt will develop those white tingy meh? cos coraline r only patches/marks rite? bt the white color tinggy is kinda like veri rough..the texture of the white tinggy is similar to sugar and rough sand...

Looks like some die offs from the previous tank. If I were you i'd use a scraper and remove it. Then give a tank a good wash. I personally would like the tank to look as new and clean as possible before I start on this amazing hobby. Would not reccomend leaving the existing algae on it. The corraline would most probably also die off by the time you fill the tank.

haiz...find it so hard to scrape off...can i scrape off nw since i have oreadi filled the tank n its running?
