Purple tip anemone not eating

I got my purple tip anemone about a week ago, try feeding it with my fire goby since its dead....but i doesn't grap it....

so at the end no choice, give it to my tube anemone...

Can someone advise

If it does'nt capture the food...it means it has no mood for eating. Pls wait a week before you attempt again. Introduction of food while the anemone does not want to eat might lead to the needless and wasteless firing of nematocysts, which requires lots of energy to be replaced.

Digestion of the food itself also takes up alot of energy for the anemone.

if it keeps shrinking and its not sticking tightly to what its sticking on,than u have to try and smell it..

mine shrink for a day i thought its going to die,but today open up very nicely

meaning if the anemone is going to die...it will shrink

If tats the case, mine no problem cos it opens very big...like a mini garden for my clowns

Erm..chameleon only one of the few things. Basically I love all things that are cold-blooded. Makes me wonder if I am mammalian.
