Most welcome and very quick action. You might want to remove the rocks to make space for it to grow.

The top protion of the Chaeto in my sump is turning brown / black and it since like not growing. Is already 2 month.

Is it normal?

How to get it off?

Hi, i got the same problem, it seems like the chaeto are affected by slime aglae or something, I either manually remove the aglae or cut those portion away,

1. Is ya chaeto hard and not springly ?

2. are you able to rub the chaeto with ya finger to remove the slime?

Some are hard and bigger in size, those on top turn brown and black.

Some are thin and softer.

Finger can't remove.....

Might not be enough flow over the Chaeto.

What wattage is your light.? Advisable to go for 30watt and above with good flow. avoid using PL.

icic. I recommend T5 for maximum growth, even though i'm also using 13 watt light bulb
